THERMAL SPRAYING - EUTALLOY

Our spraying department consists of several spraying rooms for both large and small components. In addition, we also have the necessary spaces for washing, masking and blasting, all of which are important aspects of a successful spraying process.

Thermal spraying is a well-proven method and we use it as a very good complement to PTA and CMT. These two methods are always superior in terms of strength and robustness, but thermal spraying has other advantages.

The two techniques we use are arc spraying and flame spraying, and the materials we can apply range from simple steel to high-alloy metals and ceramic layers.

The part to be coated is not heated to more than about 150 degrees so no shape change occurs, even very thin-walled structures can be surface coated.

Any hardening is unaffected.

The fact that the base material and filler material do not have to be weldable gives great freedom in material selection. The layers can also be adapted to provide very high friction, very low friction, excellent ability to carry an oil film, and more.
